Governing Board
Cyril Brom, IT expert
He works as a lecturer at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague.
He and his students examine artificial intelligence in the context of controlling virtual characters - teachers in virtual learning simulations, opponents in gaming, virtual actors, etc. In addition, he deals with cognitive modelling, from emotions to episodic memory.
Petr Jakubíček, Chairman of Organization
He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, focusing on political science and social ecology. As a lecturer and project manager, he is focusing on consumer, environmental and civic education, and attempts to find bridges between them. He searches for the possibilities of employing new forms in formal education.
Lenka Petýrková, Director of Organization
She studied finance and management of small and medium enterprises at the University of Economics in Prague. She takes care of financial matters of the organization and the administrative management of all projects. She keeps long-term cooperation on a number of domestic and international projects on financial education.
Catie Thorburn, Consultant
She is the president of the network of organizations Generation Europe Foundation, which she founded in 1995, and she is a member of the Governing Board of the Czech partner organization. She stands for the idea of "student diaries", which are now issued in 27 countries in Europe. She worked as a consultant on international trade for a long time. She is a member of the prestigious think-tank "Club de Bruxelles".

Veronika Endrštová, Project coordinator
She is finishing her studies of social and cultural ecology at the Faculty of Humanities in Prague. In GE she is responsible for the continuation of the project Europe 2045 and its expansion into the regions of the Czech republic. As a teacher, she works with associations INEX-SDA (volunteer projects) and Teresa (environmental education).
Jakub Gemrot, IT consultant
He is a Ph.D. Student at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. He deals with artificial intelligence, particularly with controlling of virtual characters and virtual worlds. In addition, he works as IT consultant for the company Profinit s.r.o. and teaches seminars accompanying lectures about artificial creatures and software engineering.
Tomáš Holan, IT expert
He works as a research assistant at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. He is interested in programming and its technology, syntactic analysis of natural language, simulation, and the evolution of artificial creatures, the measurement of human spatial orientation ... and more.
Miroslav Janáček, Technical assistant
He studies Faculty of electrical engineering at the Czech Technical University. In GE he works on creating and managing of an e-learning applications. He is an avid sportsman.
Tomáš Plch, IT expert
He is a Ph.D. Student at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. He researches controlling of groups of virtual characters - a credible tactical behaviour in an unpredictable and complex environment. In addition to his studies, he is interested in teaching of programming and robotics, software development and administration of various platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris).
Marie Římanová, Assistant of projects
She studied and deals with landscape and garden architecture. She also studies participatory approaches in planning and socio-spatial analyses at Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands. In GE, she works as an administrative and graphic assistant of projects.
Vít Šisler, Project coordinator
He is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Information Studies, Charles University. He focuses on contemporary issues of Islamic law, on the relationship between Islam and electronic media and on the topic of educational and political computer games (known as Serious games). He teaches at the Institute of Information Studies, Charles University and the Anglo-American College in Prague. In GE, he operates as an assistant coordinator of the European project IT for Humanities.
External consultants
Zdeněk Krul, External consultant
He is a specialist in Czech Trade Inspection, a lecturer and a long-term pioneer of the concept of consumer education which he sees as a crosscutting educational theme. He has been implementing for a long time projects of consumer education for secondary schools.
Klára Přirylová, External consultant
She graduated from the Law Faculty of Masaryk University and worked as the head of the legal department of Consumer Defence Association (SOS) for a long time. She is currently operating as a trainee judge at the Regional Court in Prague. She cooperates on the project Dolceta with GE.
